Our Mission:
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our mission is to build a stronger connection between intergenerational Koreans and the greater community by promoting opportunities for appreciation of Korea’s rich cultural heritage. We do this through hosting Korean-English language exchanges, a formal Korean language program, fostering educational opportunities and workshops designed to educate people about Korean culture, and by providing opportunities for community activities, which further promote our purpose. We aim to integrate others of various backgrounds that have a common interest in Korea and its culture.

우리의 설립 목적은 섹션 501(c)(3)에 의거한 비영리 단체로서 한인을 포함한 모든 재미 동포 사회와 미 주류사회에 한국의 우수한 문화적 유산을 알리고 진흥하는데 의의가 있습니다.
한국어와 영어의 언어교환 프로그램과 정규 한국어 교육 과정을 통해서 우리는 미국 커뮤니티에 한국의 문화를 쉽게 접할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고 이해를 증진시키기 위해 다양한 교육 워크샾을 진행하고 있습니다. 우리는 서로 다른 다양한 배경을 가졌지만 한국 문화와 한국에 관심이 있는 많은 사람들을 통합하려는데 목적이 있습니다.
Our Vision:
- We seek to celebrate, maintain and nourish the preservation of Korean heritage, simultaneously providing the opportunity for cultural awareness, enrichment and growth by promoting the education of Korean culture, tradition, language and history;
- Encourage 2nd, 3rd, 4th generation Koreans, who have lost a part of their culture, to establish a Korean identity by raising their consciousness and increasing their knowledge and interest of their Korean heritage, cultivate an appreciation of their dual heritage and instill a sense of pride to motivate community engagement;
- Aim to provide an inclusive environment that celebrates a broadened definition of Korean ethnic identity;
- Empower those within the Korean-American community and provide an outlet for discovery and expression through the arts;
- Partner with other organizations serving the Korean-American community to address the needs and concerns of the larger Korean-American community through outreach and advocacy;
- Serve as an information center in obtaining information relating to Korea and the United States for individuals and other organizations;
- Foster education about Korea and Korean-American life through bulletins, lectures, special courses, conferences, discussion panels, exhibitions, films and music;
- Publicize the contributions of Korean-Americans in Orange County and update the community on events and developments that are of interest and significance to the Korean-American community;
- Promote social and cultural activities that enhance awareness and pride within the Korean-American community.

- 우리는 한국 문화 유산을 보존하고, 이를 기념, 유지 및 키우도록 추구하며, 동시에 한국 문화와 전통, 언어 및 역사 교육을 제공함으로써 한국 문화에 대한 문화적 인식, 강화 및 성장의 기회를 제공합니다.
- 자신의 문화적 정체성을 잃어가는 한인 2, 3,4세들에게 한국의 자랑스러운 문화 유산에 대한 이해와 자각을 증진시키고 한인으로서의 정체성을 인식하고 설립할 수 있게 도우며, 한편으로는 한인으로서 다른 한편으로는 미국인으로서 이중의 문화 유산을 지닌 커뮤니티의 일원으로 자긍심을 확립할 수 있는 동기부여를 제공합니다.
- 한민족 정체성의 확장된 정의를 제시하는 폭넓은 환경 제공을 목표로 합니다.
- 재미 동포 지역 사회에 있는 사람들에게 권리를 제공하며, 예술을 통한 통찰과 표현의 기회을 제공합니다.
- 봉사활동과 적극적인 지지를 통해서 더 큰 재미 한인 사회의 문제를 해결하기 위해 재미 동포 사회를 위해서 활동하는 다른 단체들과 협력합니다.
- 개인과 단체들을 위한 한국과 미국에 관련된 정보들을 얻음으로써 정보 센터의 역할을 합니다.
- 회보, 강연, 특별 과정, 학회, 토론, 전시회, 영화 및 음악을 통하여 한국과 재미 동포의 삶에 관한 교육을 조성합니다.
- 오렌지 카운티에 있는 재미 동포들의 기부를 종용하며, 재미 동포 지역 사회에게 의미 있고 중요한 행사, 활동 및 발전 등을 알립니다.
