This distinction means our programs — from kindergarten through adult — meet the same high standards as accredited schools and colleges. It’s a major milestone for Korean language education and a powerful step toward broader academic recognition and school credit for our students.

Backed by South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, our designation gives learners direct access to high-quality language instruction, rich cultural resources, and opportunities for international exchange through an esteemed global network of educators and programs.

Our students go beyond just learning Korean —
they join a vibrant, supportive community that meets them where they are and helps them thrive. Here’s what they’re saying.

Michelle TAdult Learner (Beginner Level)
“I started with zero Korean knowledge, and now I can read Hangul and hold basic conversations. The teachers are so patient and encouraging — I never thought I’d learn this much!”
David K Parent of 5th Grader
“My daughter’s confidence has skyrocketed since starting Korean classes at KAC. The instructors are fantastic with kids, and she looks forward to class every week.”
Julia PHeritage Learner
“I joined to reconnect with my Korean heritage, but I stayed because of the community. The events and workshops helped me feel proud of my roots in a new way.”
Wendy S.Beginner 1, In-Person Learner
"Awesome fun classes to be apart of. I have actually made friends with my classmates and hang out after class too."
Susan L.Parent of 5th Grader Learner
"The teachers are so patient and energetic. They make the lessons fun and age-appropriate, which really helps the kids remember new words and phrases. My daughter enjoyed this program much more than another she attended—and now she’s using Korean with relatives at home."
Jeremy KIntermediate 2, Online Learner
"I have already recommended the class to several friends... I described the class as a great class with lots of levels for different experience levels, affordable, great teachers, good timing, and fun environment with other students and TAs."
Grace K.Student, 9th Grader
"I’ve taken other Korean classes before, but this program is the first one that really helped me understand instead of just memorizing. Being immersed in both the language and culture every day gave me confidence to speak with my family at home. Even small moments, like being able to answer my grandmother in Korean, felt so meaningful."
Matt L.Student, 7th Grade (Online)
"Before this class, I always felt disconnected from Korean culture, but now I feel so much closer to my heritage. I’m not just learning words—I’m learning how to really speak, understand, and connect with my family in a meaningful way. I’m grateful for the supportive teachers."
Zoey G.Student, 10th Grade (Online)
"Through KAC, I gained so much knowledge about Korean history and language. The teachers were kind and patient, and I really appreciated how much effort they put into making class enjoyable. I’m glad I joined—it’s made me want to keep learning more Korean."
