High School Korean—Even If Your School Doesn’t Offer It

100% Korean-focused. Live online classes. WASC-accredited program. Official transcript provided.

Don’t let your school’s course list limit you. The Korean American Center (KAC) offers a nationally accessible high school Korean pathway taught by expert instructors. We’re WASC accredited and issue transcripts you can submit to your school for credit or placement consideration.

Why Students Choose KAC

Specialized = higher quality. Because we focus 100% on Korean, our curriculum goes deeper, our instructors get targeted professional development, and our materials + assessments are purpose-built for Korean—not generic world-language templates.

Why Learn Korean?

Korean is one of the world’s fastest-growing languages and one of the most strategic for the future. Spoken by over 75 million people worldwide, Korean connects learners to a global culture of innovation, creativity, and opportunity.

As a WASC-accredited educational center, Korean American Center is uniquely qualified to help young learners build lasting language skills and cultural fluency from the very beginning.

Whether your student is just starting out or preparing for AP exams and the Seal of Biliteracy, we offer a pathway designed to grow with them—academically, personally, and culturally.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can I receive high-school credit?

Many districts will grant credit or placement for accredited outside language study when a language isn’t offered at their school. We provide a transcript and documentation for your counselor to review. Final approval is up to your school.

Will my out-of-state school accept credit?

Many do when a language isn’t offered; we provide the documentation.

Can this help my teen with college readiness?

Absolutely. Our high school offerings support AP Korean prep, the Seal of Biliteracy, and potential school credit or letters of recommendation.

What if my schedule conflicts?

Limited make-ups plus documented alternative tasks; attendance policy included in packet.

Do you serve homeschool/charter students?

Yes we do.

Can I switch sections if my schedule changes?

We’ll do our best to accommodate changes early in the term, subject to seat availability.

My student is not Korean, will they fit in?
