Honoring Our Heritage, Building Our Future

Our mission at Korean American Center is to empower individuals and strengthens communities by providing access to Korean language, culture, and critical support services.

We foster intergenerational connection, preserve heritage, and create opportunities that help Korean Americans and those who love Korean culture thrive.  Through world-class Korean language instruction and rich cultural programming, we restore pride, identity, and connection while also addressing real-life community needs. Our work is rooted in service and cultural stewardship; supporting seniors facing language isolation, empowering youth with leadership opportunities, or connecting families to resources for immigration, housing, and food assistance.

Our Vision

We are the gold standard for Korean language and culture education in the United States—nationally accredited, globally recognized, and rooted in the mission of preserving our heritage.

Our vision is a nation where the Korean language and culture are preserved, celebrated, and accessible to all, serving as a bridge between generations, across communities, and beyond borders. We strive not only to uplift the Korean American community but also to ensure that anyone who wants to learn Korean in the United States can do so, and that Korean educators are equipped with the tools, training, and cultural understanding to teach it with excellence.

Through our work, we restore intergenerational connections, foster a sense of belonging, and cultivate cultural fluency that connects people to a shared history spanning the diaspora and the Korean Peninsula.

In doing so, we nurture the conditions for deeper understanding, solidarity, and perhaps one day the peaceful reunification of Korea, where our language, identity, and cultural continuity transcend division.
